THINK AND GROW RICH by NAPOLEON HILL :Book Review:

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

THINK AND GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill is one of the books that needs no introduction. If a person is willing to improve their lifestyle, they will eventually come in contact with this masterpiece.

The title is exactly what the book is going to offer you. A rich life. Not only financially but also every other possible area of life. Though many people misinterpret it with a financial guide where it’s actually more “Law of attraction” how to.

The history behind this book is pretty amazing. Andrew Carnegie gave the author a mission to interview the successful persons at that time to get the fundamental formula behind everyone’s success. Hill interviewed nearly (maybe more than) 500 people like Henry Ford, Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Edison – and after two decades came up with this super-compressed version of that individual wisdom.

“Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought.”

Even though I believe it should be everyone’s first book to begin the journey of self-improvement, it took me few months before I decided to dig into it. Maybe I have misinterpreted the title and thought it was a cheesy book. But the more I heard about it (from people and also in the books I was reading!) the easier it became to get it.

As I wrote before, the book it solely based on “Law of Attraction” – the book successfully makes the concepts of visualization (Think) clear to make any goal achievable (Growing Rich). It also discusses interesting areas like having a mastermind group, transmuting sexual energy, physiological and psychological aspects of how the brain works, and dealing wth fears. All of the lessons are illustrated with real life examples wich

“Anybody can wish for riches, and most people do, but only a few know that a deinite plan, plus a burning desire for wealth, are the only dependable means of accumulating wealth.”

Few things about this book

  1. The book is a guide book. Reading once is not enough.
  2. Because the book is a compressed version of knowledge, it is loaded with high-quality information, techniques, and theories. To make work correctly one must digest it slowly.
  3. Some theories will really offend you for good. Mainly the list of 55 if’s. No matter what your excuse of not taking action is – the list includes it. And it helped me dramatically to get out of comfort zone and do something.
  4. There is something for every person in this book. No matter what, who, where you are, or when you are reading it – it is an infinite source of guidance to help you achieve the life you want.

The most important thing about this book is that there is no other book is as pure as this. All of the modern self-help writers have built their foundation from this book
